Meeting with the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan and representatives of the World Bank

On September 9, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Boboev met with representatives of the World Bank, social development specialist R. Wrobel, Senior Urban Development Specialist R. Nitti, World Bank consultant R. Tlepova and the leadership of the "Rural Infrastructure Development" Project. During the meeting they discussed the issues of the implementation process and the status of the "Rural Infrastructure Development" and "Medium-size cities Integrated Development" projects. Following the meeting, the parties agreed on step-by-step joint consultations for the rural Infrastructure development process as a contribution to the dynamic implementation of the project. Representatives of the World Bank also expressed their readiness to involve international technical specialists for the urbanization of medium-sized cities.
