Online seminar on labor rights with the participation of project specialists

International Labor Organization (ILO) Specialist Oksana Lipcanu and Niyazmetova Gulrukh Kuralovna, Chief labor inspector of the State Labour Inspectorate, Mininstry of Employment and Labour Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan conducted an online workshop on March 26th, 2021 for environmental and social safeguards specialists, qishloq facilitators and engineers of the RID Project. World Bank Representatives also attended the workshop. The main purpose of the event is to inform the participants of the workshop on labor rights, the conventions of the ILO in Uzbekistan as well as forced labor and its indicators. Experts answered the questions of the seminar participants with examples from their work. At the end of the workshop Niyazmetova Gulrukh Kuralovna, Chief labor inspector of the State Labour Inspectorate, Mininstry of Employment and Labour Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, shared recommendations and hotline telephone numbers. In turn, all participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers for a meaningful and useful seminar.
