Rural Infrastructure Development Project works inspected in Furqat District

Under the Rural Infrastructure Development Project, implemented with the participation of the World Bank’s International Development Association and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, important social and infrastructure projects are being implemented in phases in Furkat District of Fergana region.

According to this project, special attention is being paid to improving the living conditions of the population, creating modern infrastructure, and strengthening the material and technical base of educational institutions.

In particular, an on-site inspection was conducted on the progress of construction works for the capital renovation project of Secondary School No. 33 located in the Ardakhshon mahalla of Furqat district. During the inspection, the quality of the ongoing construction and renovation works, compliance with the established deadlines, and conformity with the project documentation were thoroughly examined.

The inspection was attended by the specialists from the Joint Projects Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the contractor organization - “Oq jar sifatli servis” LLC, as well as mahalla activists. Discussions were held on strict adherence to current construction norms, technical safety requirements, and environmental protection rules during the construction process.

It was emphasized that upon completion of this project, a modern, comfortable, and safe learning environment will be created for the students studying at the school, and the quality of social services provided to the local population will further improve.
Such construction works being carried out in the regions serve to ensure the well-being of the population, develop rural infrastructure, and create decent conditions for future generations.
