Implementation Support and Assessment mission for the Rural Infrastructure Development Project commences

A joint mission of the World Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has commenced under the Rural Infrastructure Development Project (RIDP).

During the initial stage of the mission, key discussions focused on reviewing the agreements and implementation progress of the Rural Infrastructure Development Project, which is approaching completion, as well as assessing the scope and impact of activities carried out at the community (mahalla) level.

In addition, the parties discussed the technical preparation process for Phase 2 of the Rural Infrastructure Development Project, with a view to continuing cooperation between the stakeholders.

In the coming days, the mission will include consultations with specialists across various components of project implementation.
