Community mobilization in progress in “Uzunbulok”, “Temirkadam”, “Madaniyat” and “Oykor” MCAs, Bakhmal district, Jizzakh region

On March 10, another visit was made by Qishloq facilitators and engineers of the interregional project implementation unit for the Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions, to Uzunbulok, Temirkadam, Madaniyat MCAs as well as the Oykor Rural citizens’ assembly of the Bakhmal district, Jizzakh region to continue the process of community mobilization. The purpose of the visit was to conduct education and health analyzes in the above-mentioned MCAs and RCA. In the first part of the event, the participants discussed education issues. After that, the participants were grouped (women and men) in two for health analysis. They shared their views on the main diseases and problems that arise in their area, their consequences, the impact on children, the frequency of occurrence and proposals for their solution. As a result of these analyzes, data on education and health were compiled alongside with a table of existing problems, on the basis of which, with the help of the local population, the causes of problems in the MCA and RCA data were identified.
