At the Ministry of Economy and Finance, discussions were held with the World Bank on promoting inclusive entrepreneurship and creating an enabling environment for new jobs in remote areas within the framework of ongoing projects.
During the meeting, which was attended by Simon Sottsas, Task Team Leader of the World Bank’s Rural Infrastructure Development Project and Senior Social Development Specialist, other experts of the Bank, Timur Khusanov, Head of the Department for analysis, support, and coordination of State Policy on Small and Medium Business development of the Ministry, and staff of the Project Implementation Unit for the Rural Infrastructure Development Project, plans for implementing the second phase of the project were reviewed.
Throughout the discussion, the parties exchanged views on strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation, particularly on advancing small and medium entrepreneurship in the regions where the second phase of the Rural Infrastructure Development Project will be implemented, supporting modern and emerging sectors, and expanding entrepreneurship opportunities for women and youth.
