Road improvement works continue in Yozyovon District under the Rural Infrastructure Development Project

As part of Phase 2 of the Rural Infrastructure Development Project (RIDP), construction and improvement works are underway in 11 mahallas of Yozyovon District, Fergana Region.

Based on the requests of residents of “Suvliariq” mahalla, a project worth 5.98 billion sums was developed to pave all inner streets of the mahalla, covering a total length of 12 km. The work includes grading and asphalt paving and is being carried out by contractor Margilon Binokor LLC.

The progress of the construction is overseen by a community monitoring group, elected by local residents, in collaboration with regional and district authorities.
