A team of specialists from the World Bank and the Joint Projects Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Economy and Finance visited the Andijan and Fergana regions to hold meetings related to the Rural Infrastructure Development Project.
During a meeting at the Shahrikhon District khokimiyat in Andijan region, the parties discussed the prospects for implementing Stage 2 of the Rural Infrastructure Development Project, which is expected to be financed by the World Bank. Following the meeting, the delegation visited a secondary school in Shahrikhon District that could potentially be included in the project.
The delegation also inspected Secondary School No. 4 in Marhamat District, which was built and commissioned as part of the Rural Infrastructure Development Project.
On the second day of the visit, representatives of the World Bank and JPIU met with officials from the Kuva District khokimiyat in the Fergana region. In the second half of the day, residents of Yozyovon District presented on the organization of collective mobilization efforts within the framework of the project.
