A meeting with representatives of the World Bank mission was held

A meeting with the World Bank mission took place at the office of the Joint Project Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

The meeting, organized within the framework of the Rural Infrastructure Development Project, was attended by the head of the World Bank’s Task Team Leader for this project, Senior Social Development Specialist Simon Sottsass, and other members of the mission, as well as the Acting Director of JPIU Boburbek Egamov and project staff.

The parties discussed topical issues of the Rural Infrastructure Development Project implementation. Special attention was paid to the process of commissioning infrastructure facilities in regions, the use of the “Shaffof Curilish” platform to accelerate tender bidding, as well as the prospects for the implementation of the second phase of the project.

In addition, within the framework of the mission program, it is planned to visit the facilities of the Rural Infrastructure Development Project in Fergana region.
