Community mobilization and Social protection specialists of the Rural Infrastructure Development Project (RIDP) carried out by the Joint Projects Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Economy and Finance are holding workshops for rural residents of Namangan region.
The workshops are limited in order to continue the work of the current program and facilitate the transition to the next phase, RIDP-2. At these events, initiatives are developed to improve women’s economic status and social awareness.
In this regard, various economic and social studies are being conducted from June 19 to June 28 this year with the participation of women from the pilot mahallas “Iman ota” in Pop district and “Uyurchi Damkul” in Mingbulok district. In the future, it is planned to conduct several similar analyses with the participation of rural women, based on the findings of which a “Plan for Women’s Economic Development” will be developed.
