The World Bank's mission continues within the framework of the Rural Infrastructure Development project

    On April 16 this year, a meeting was held with representatives of the World Bank, specialists of the JPIU (Joint Projects Implementation Unit) and partner organizations.  

    The meeting was attended by Robert Wrobel, a senior specialist at the World Bank, Rano Tlepova, a specialist in social development at the World Bank, Bahodir Turaev, acting Director of the JPIU, Munojat Muradova, a specialist in mobilization, and other specialists. The main topic of discussion at the meeting was overview of Progress in Phase 1 and Phase 2 communities by and Facilitating Partner organization.

    On April 17, the mission continued its work in the Kushtepa and Yazyavan districts of the Ferghana region. Specialists in mobilization, environmental protection, public procurement and engineers, together with representatives of the World Bank, got acquainted with the implemented sub-projects within the framework of the RIDP.

    Also, the mission participants met with local residents in the Kayragoch mahalla and discussed the issues of the mobilization and construction process.

     In the mahalla "Suvli ariq", the mission participants got acquainted with the analysis of education, with the causes of difficulties in obtaining knowledge of schoolchildren, this village was chosen for the implementation of sub-projects within the framework of the second phase of the JPIU.
