The head of the Anti-Corruption Agency Akmal Burkhanov visited the Fergana Region within the framework of the Rural Infrastructure Development project

On March 14 of this year, employees of the Anti-Corruption Agency headed by Director Akmal Burkhanov and the Project Implementation Group headed by Zafar Urakov visited facilities in the Ferghana region.

The working visit began with an introduction to the Rural Infrastructure Development project, and a presentation with detailed information about the project was presented.

The representatives visited the Kayragoch and Balandmasjid mahallas of the Kushtepa district. In the Kayragoch mahalla with a population of 2,515 people, a subproject “Provision of drinking water” worth about 3.5 billion soums was implemented. In the Balandmasjid mahalla with a population of 5,740 people, work continues on the subproject “Asphalting of internal roads”, worth about 5.4 billion soums.

Analysis of the work done in the Ferghana region.

Of the 58 facilities under the project in 28 villages of the Ferghana region:

- Design and construction contracts worth 158.4 billion soums have been signed;

- Design and construction contract works in the amount of 99.8 billion rubles have been completed. sumov;

- Design and construction contract works in the amount of 96.1 billion soums have been financed;

- Construction work has been completed at 26 sites;

- Construction works are underway at 3 sites;

- A contract tender has been completed for 27 of the 29 facilities, contracts have been signed with contractors and construction contracting works have been launched. Completion of tender processes at 2 sites;

Design work has been completed on subprojects -17 clean drinking water, 17 repair of internal streets, 16 improvement of power supply systems, 1 preschool educational institution, 6 secondary educational schools, -1 bridge construction, contract work is being carried out.

Public mobilization is underway in the remaining 29 villages of the Ferghana region.
