On May 2 and 3 of this year, representatives of the World Bank and PIU specialists visited Kandigon and Pillakash MCAs of Pop district of Namangan region. Various trainings were conducted in order to find out how much time rural women spend on housework and to earn extra income in addition to housework as well as to determine how aware they are of the newly created programs and whether they were able to start their own businesses through any of the programs. At the same time, a meeting was held with the Autonomous Water Supply System organization organized by RIDP at Pillakash MCA. At this meeting, MDU members and NNO representatives told the background of the creation of this organization, and also got acquainted with the places where the water tower was installed.
