More than 5,000 residents of Ulugnar district will be provided with drinking water

Within the framework of the Rural Infrastructure Development project, construction work has begun in the Uzbekistan and Gulistan MCAs of the Ulugnar district, Andijan region.

It is known that in the course of the mobilization work carried out by the Facilitation Partners ACTED (France)/Yuksalish NM/Taraqqiyot NGO/ISW (Canada) within the framework of the Project, the residents of these MCAs selected the subproject “Improvement of drinking water supply”.

The cost of the project is 2 520,3 mln UZS. As a result of the work, more than 5,000 residents of these MCAs will have access to a source of clean drinking water.

In accordance with the principles of the Project, the entire construction process is under the supervision of members of the Makhalla Development Unit and members of the monitoring group.
