As noted earlier, starting from October 25 of this year, International expert on community mobilization, Ms Brigitta Bode, began a working visit to the villages covered by the Rural Infrastructure Development Project. The working group also includes specialists from the central office of the RIDP and rural facilitators.
This week, Ms. Bode is holding meetings with villagers in the Ferghana Valley. The purpose of the expert's visit is to evaluate the results of mobilization work with the population. For that, conversations were held with residents of the “Kuvurboshi” MCA in the Ferghana region.
At the end of the meetings, the working group, together with the residents, gave an analysis of the work carried out within the framework of the Project. Proposals from community members were listened around this topic and an interesting exchange of views was held.
Successful implementation of subprojects to provide the population with clean drinking water, as well as the creation of public drinking water supply organizations in them, requires well-organized work of both project facilitators and technical staff. To this end, a meeting was held at the office of Facilitating Partners ACTED (France) with the participation of the ACTED project manager, Mr. Ram Sharma, as well as rural facilitators and engineers.
