Meetings with residents were held in Andijan and Namangan regions

On April 18, this year, the mission continued within the framework of the Rural Infrastructure Development project in the Andijan region. In the morning, specialists from the JPIU (Joint Project Implementation Unit), the World Bank and other consulting companies visited the Yerboshi mahalla of Bulakbashi district, where the subproject "Asphalting of internal roads" was selected by citizens. As the second project, the subproject "Improvement of electricity supply" was selected, which is currently still in implementation. The mission participants met with the local population, studied their opinion on the work done within the framework of the  Rural Infrastructure Development project.

On April 19, on the final day of the working trip, a visit to the mahalla “Agasaroy” of the Chust district of Namangan region, selected for the 1st phase of the project, took place. As part of the MDP (Mahalla Development Plan), the subproject “Construction of an additional building” for school No. 28 was selected. During the visit, they were familiarized with the collective mobilization work carried out with the villagers, their opinions and proposals on the project. The mission participants also got acquainted with the construction processes.

In the afternoon, a visit to the Vodiy mahalla took place Pop district of Namangan region, which was selected for the 2nd phase. The process of preparing a village development plan took place here. The villagers discussed all the socio-economic analyses carried out and drew conclusions on each analysis. During the event, a village development plan was developed based on these findings.
