Meetings with the population were held in Chust and Chartak districts

Within the Rural Infrastructure Development Project, village coordinators in Okterak, Uzun, Karakapa, Karamurt mahallas of Chust and Chartok districts of Namangan province organized meetings to revise the Qishloq Development Plan and prepare for the 3rd social audit.

In Karakapa mahalla, the village facilitators and members of T-MDU, the joint project partner of Bulgarian company “CEED” and Uzbek company “Ritm Plus”, agreed on the days of the 3rd social audit and the PRS was also revised. The subproject "Provision of clean drinking water" was excluded from the PRS, and the remaining subprojects were clarified.

The lead subproject “Provision of Clean Drinking Water” implemented in Uzun Kuch mahalla was excluded from the PRP and clarification was given on the fact that “Asphalting of Internal Roads” was selected as the first subproject and “Improvement of Electrical System” was selected as the third subproject.

In Karamurt mahalla, the subproject “Clean Drinking Water” was excluded from the QDP and explanations were given for further subprojects.

The leading subproject “Provision of clean drinking water”, implemented in Okterak mahalla, was excluded from the PRS and explanatory work was carried out on the fact that “Asphalting of internal roads” was selected as the first subproject and “Reconstruction of street lighting” as the third one.

T-MDU members were appointed responsible for community outreach issues, which is conducted jointly with donor organizations.

At the same time, residents received answers to their questions from T-MDU members on Form 3.18 and the results of the self-assessment questionnaire were discussed. In addition, explanations were given to the monitoring group on form 3.14 and on the 3rd social audit.
