A training was held for the employees of the "Rural infrastructure development" project and the "Medium -size cities integrated urban development project"

On June 21 this year, a training on disability inclusion to improve accessibility of infrastructure was held for the employees of the "Rural Infrastructure Development" project and the "Medium -size Cities Integrated Urban Development Project". The training was conducted by the World Bank in collaboration with NGO "Sharoit plus". 
The training was led by Ms. Janet Jimenez Santos, World Bank international consultant and architect specializing in accessibility. During the meeting, participants performed a variety of group exercises aimed at identifying shortcomings in accessing different types of infrastructure by people with disabilities. Solutions to existing infrastructure problems were also discussed.
