Press-tour events were organized in Boyovut district in connection with the works being carried out within the framework of the Rural Infrastructure Development Project

On 24 October 2022, press tour events were organized in Boyovut district, Syrdarya region, to review the activities and intermediate results under the "Rural Infrastructure Development" Project and to raise the awareness of the public about the project progress.

The first destination of the press tour, organized by Joint Project Implementation Unit representatives under the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the officials of the district administration and journalists, was the building of kindergarten No. 21. The project cost was UZS 1,748,538,983. As a result of the reconstruction of this building, 85 children of the makhalla got the opportunity to be raised in a modern kindergarten with conditions that meets the requirements of today.

Here, media representatives had the opportunity to talk with residents of the makhalla and get acquainted with the conditions created in the building of the kindergarten.

The next point of the press tour was the building of the family polyclinic in the "Bunyodkor" MCA, Boyovut district. The cost of this project is UZS 443,994,357. This object was chosen as a priority by local residents as a result of a survey conducted by the project specialists during the social audit. Previously, local residents had to travel a long distance to receive primary medical services, which created a threat to the health of the local population, especially vulnerable groups: children, pregnant women and the elderly people.

Here, the journalists also talked with active residents of the makhalla and employees of the medical facility.
