Another facility was handed over to the population of the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region

On September 8 this year, as part of the visit of the World Bank Senior Social Development Specialist Mr. Robert Wrobel, as well as the World Bank Social Development Specialist Gulrano Tlepova to the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region, a modern bridge was opened in the Bakhmal makhalla. Khokim of Bakhmal district Musa Anarbayev, Director of the Joint Projects Implementation Unit Zafar Urakov, as well as residents of Bakhmal MCA also took part in the solemn event on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the bridge. This bridge, 32 meters long and 9 meters wide, was built with funding from the World Bank, as well as the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank in the amount of UZS 1,371,110,641. The World Bank Senior Social Development Specialist Mr. Robert Wrobel, speaking at the opening ceremony of the bridge, emphasized the importance of the participation of the local population in the implementation of this subproject, as well as the relevance of the principles of the Rural Infrastructure Development Project in the implementation of the development strategy of New Uzbekistan, where there are all conditions for that people openly talk about their problems and work together to solve them.
